How long do I have to use the credits in my Thankbox pack?
The validity of a Thankbox pack depends on its size — larger packs last longer. The shortest duration is 12 months.
For example, if you purchase a pack with a 12-month expiry, you’ll have that period (from the purchase date) to create the Thankboxes included in your pack.
Don’t worry — you don’t need to send them all within that timeframe. As long as the cards are created before expiry, you’ll still be able to access and manage them afterward.
Does adding to an online gift card collection have any fees?
Yes, a small fee is added to each contribution to cover secure payment processing and fraud protection.
The exact fee depends on the currency of the collection:
🇬🇧 GBP: 1.1% + £0.17 (e.g., a £10 gift = £10.28)
🇪🇺 EUR: 2.5% + €0.17 (e.g., a €10 gift = €10.42)
🇺🇸 USD: 2.9% + $0.19 (e.g., a $10 gift = $10.48)
The fee is always shown clearly at checkout so there are no surprises.
Does buying a Thankbox pack apply to existing unpaid Thankboxes?
Yes — once you purchase a pack, it’s automatically applied to any unpaid Thankboxes you already have in progress.
Can I expense the cost of sending a Thankbox?
Yes — in most cases the cost of a Thankbox can be treated as a business expense, especially when used for employee recognition or client appreciation. To be sure, check with your company’s expense policy or your finance team.
